Corazón Alado Grande by Hermes Arroyo
A little piece of San Miguel, made by the hands of one of its most celebrated artisans.
Corazón Alado, meaning Winged Heart, is a handmade papier-mâché art object by renowned San Miguel de Allende artist Hermes Arroyo, best known for his larger-than-life mojigangas. Sculpted into a dimensional winged heart and finished in luminous gold, this piece brings the same sense of whimsy, tradition, and artistry found throughout Arroyo's iconic work into a size meant to be enjoyed at home.
Finished with a vibrant ribbon for hanging, Corazón Alado is beautiful displayed on a wall, layered into a gallery collection, hung from a decorative hook, or styled somewhere unexpected.
Each piece is made by hand, so variations in shape, texture, and finish are intentional — and part of what makes each one a tiny work of art all its own.
